IB Graduation Requirements
MHS Diploma Programme
Every year the MHS IB Diploma Programme celebrates the work of the graduating DP senior class. The celebration is a recognition of the seniors’ completion of the Diploma Programme in a manner that upholds the standards and expectations of an IB Diploma Programme candidate.
It is important to recognize that as with all celebrations, participation in the DP graduation ceremony is a privilege and not a right. In order to qualify for participation in the IB DP graduation ceremony, graduating seniors must complete the Diploma Programme in good standing. This requires DP seniors to meet each of the following standards:

In order to qualify for participation in the IB DP graduation ceremony, graduating seniors must complete the Diploma Programme in good standing. This requires DP seniors to meet each of the following standards:
- Submit all required IB assessments for all IB Diploma Programme requirements. Submissions must achieve a minimum level of passable work as determined by the teacher of that course.
- Earn a passing grade for the year for each required IB Diploma Programme class, as of one calendar week prior to the DP graduation ceremony.
- Complete MHS DP CAS requirements.
- Meet MHS DP Attendance requirements for all required IB classes (see DP Accountability Practices).
- Meet MHS DP Academic Integrity requirements in all classes during the senior year (see Academic Integrity Expectations and Procedures).
